Scope Sync

RTOSafe checks your scope of registration against training.gov.au every night and applies any changes automatically. There’s nothing you need to do to keep it in sync.

What Gets Updated

Each night RTOSafe pulls your current scope from TGA and applies:

• New qualifications, skill sets, and units added to your registration
• Changes to on-scope / off-scope status
• Updated dates on existing items

New qualifications and skill sets will need delivery setup before you can assign them to staff. If TGA brought down skill sets you don’t actually deliver, you can mark them as not delivered to keep them out of your setup workflows and validation reports.

See What Changed

Go to RTO Settings and select TGA Scope Sync from the sidebar.

You’ll see:

• Last checked — when the most recent check ran
• Sync history — a list of any check that changed something. Quiet nights with no changes aren’t listed.

Click View on any row to see exactly what was updated.
