Log In to RTOSafe

Once an admin at your RTO adds you, you’ll get a welcome email with one of two buttons:

Set Your Password — create a password, then log in with your email and new password
Login to RTOSafe — your RTO uses Google or Microsoft sign-in, so just sign in with your work account

Logging In

Go to app.rtosafe.com.au, enter your email and select Continue

Enter your password, or select Sign in with Google or Login with Microsoft Account if your RTO uses them

If you have MFA turned on, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app

You’ll need to log in again every 7 days.

Forgotten your password? See Reset Your Password. If you use Google or Microsoft sign-in, reset it with them instead.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

If your RTO requires MFA, you’ll set it up with an authenticator app on your phone the first time you log in with a password — see Set Up MFA on Your Account. After that, you’ll enter a code from the app each time. Google and Microsoft sign-in users don’t need it.

New phone or lost your authenticator app?

There are no backup codes, so ask a compliance admin at your RTO to reset your MFA. You’ll set it up again next time you log in. If you’re the only admin, email support@rtosafe.com.au.

Working Across More Than One RTO

If you have access to more than one RTO (for example, as a consultant), select Switch RTO in the bottom left, then Switch next to the RTO you want.

Common Issues

"403 Forbidden" page when I open the login page

For security, RTOSafe only accepts connections from Australia. To fix it, either:

Switch your VPN to an Australian location, or turn it off
Working overseas long-term? Email support@rtosafe.com.au with your static IP address

"No account found with this email address"

Check you’re using the email your RTO registered you with. If you are, your admin may not have added you yet.

My welcome email never arrived or the link has expired

Check your spam folder. Otherwise, set a password using Reset Your Password.
