Feedback
Capture feedback from students, staff, industry, and other stakeholders.
Feedback captures informal input from anyone connected to your RTO — students, staff, employers, industry, or the community. Unlike formal complaints, feedback covers suggestions, concerns, and observations that might come up in conversation or via email but still need to be recorded and acted on.
Feedback received informally — like a comment from a student to a trainer — is easy to lose. Recording it centrally ensures nothing slips through and creates a trail for continuous improvement.
If feedback comes from a formal consultation — like an industry advisory meeting or employer site visit — create a Stakeholder Engagement first, then add feedback from there. This links the feedback to the consultation record and keeps everything together.
Adding Feedback
Go to Feedback and select Create. Enter the details, who it's from, and link it to a training product if relevant. Staff can also submit feedback through the Staff Portal — either their own or on behalf of someone else (like a student comment to a trainer).
Tone Analysis
RTOSafe automatically analyses feedback and tags it as Positive, Neutral, Negative, or Mixed. Use the tone filter to quickly find items needing attention. You can change the tone manually if the analysis isn't right.
Enable Staff Feedback
Staff feedback is off by default. It's good practice to enable it — trainers and assessors often hear feedback informally that would otherwise go unrecorded. Turn it on in Settings → Staff Portal.
