Use AI to check your policies against the Standards for RTOs 2025.

Policy Analysis uses AI to review your policies and procedures against the Standards for RTOs 2025. It identifies potential gaps, outdated references, and inconsistencies that could cause problems in an audit.

circle-info

This is an AI-assisted review — it provides another set of eyes, not a compliance guarantee. Always verify the findings and use your own judgement before making changes.

What It Checks

The analysis looks for three types of issues:

  • Compliance gaps — areas where your policy doesn't fully address 2025 Standards requirements

  • Outdated references — mentions of the 2015 Standards, superseded legislation, or old terminology

  • Inconsistencies — contradictory statements, vague language, or processes that don't align

Each finding is rated High, Medium, or Low priority.

Running an Analysis

Open a policy and go to the Analysis tab, then select Analyse Policy. The analysis runs in the background and typically takes a few minutes — you can leave the page and come back.

To analyse multiple policies at once, go to Reports → Policy Analysisarrow-up-right. This shows all your policies with their analysis status and lets you run them in bulk.

Working Through Findings

Each finding shows what the issue is, where it appears in the document, and a recommendation for how to address it.

As you work through results, mark each finding as:

  • Addressed — you've updated the policy to fix this

  • Dismissed — you've reviewed it and it doesn't apply

This helps you track progress and shows auditors you've reviewed and responded to each item.

New Versions

When you create a new version of a policy, previous analysis results no longer apply. You'll need to run the analysis again on the new version to check your updates.
