Link Evidence
Attach documents that demonstrate how you meet a clause.
Linking evidence connects your policies, procedures, and other documents to the clauses they address. This makes it easy to see exactly how you meet each requirement.
When to Use This
After uploading a policy that covers a specific clause
To connect an existing policy from your Policies section to a clause
Before running a gap analysis — linked documents are analysed for coverage
Adding Evidence
Open the clause
Go to Standards, select your standard set, and click the clause you want to add evidence to.
Click Add Files
In the clause details, click Add Files. You'll see two options:
Upload new files — Upload a file from your computer
Search existing files — Link a document you've already uploaded to RTOSafe, including policies from your Policies section
Select your documents
Choose the files you want to link. Supported formats: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PNG, JPEG.
If searching existing files, you can search by document name to find policies and other documents already in RTOSafe.
The documents appear in the Supporting files section on the clause page.
Removing Evidence
To unlink a document, click the delete icon next to it in the Supporting files section. This removes the link but doesn't delete the document from RTOSafe.
Importing Evidence from Another Clause
If you have a document that covers multiple clauses, you can copy evidence from one clause to another:
Open the clause you want to add evidence to
Click Actions → Import
Select the source standard set and clause
Choose to import the summary, documents, or both
What Happens Next
Linked documents appear on the clause page for easy reference
Documents are included when you run a gap analysis
