# Set Up Quality Indicator Surveys

RTOSafe can host the Learner Questionnaire and the Employer Questionnaire for you. Each has a public link you share with learners and employers. Responses come straight back into RTOSafe, grouped by calendar year, ready for your annual quality indicator summary.

***

## When to Use This

Under the Data Provision Requirements, RTOs report quality indicator data to ASQA each year. The summary draws on the Learner and Employer Questionnaires completed over the previous calendar year, along with response rates, trends and the actions you've taken in response. Check ASQA's website for the current due date and any exemptions.

> Related to Standards for RTOs 2025, Standard 4.4: monitoring and evaluating your performance, including collecting and analysing feedback from students, staff, industry and employers.

## What Respondents See

Respondents see your logo and name, followed by the standard questionnaire. Every question is optional, and they only need to answer one to submit. The form tells them their response is anonymous, and it doesn't ask for their name or link the response to an enrolment.

Quality indicator responses are kept separate from your [Feedback Register](/help/feedback). They don't create feedback records, so they won't appear in the register or the Feedback Trends report.

## What Happens Next

Responses are counted by year and quarter on the Quality Indicators page. See [Review Quality Indicator Results](/help/quality-indicators-results) to read the results and export them.

RTOSafe doesn't know how many learners or employers you sent the links to. Keep your own count so you can work out response rates for your summary.
